In 1977 at the JCP NY Home Office, my first gown up job, is where I met a beautiful human being, Armida...
She was warm and friendly from the start and helped me find my way. We quickly became friends and shared many times together. Her home always welcoming and filled with warmth, good food, and so much love and laughter!
I attended her beautiful wedding when she married Vinnie, the love of her life! When it was time to start their family it was wonderful to see and share in her happiness and excitement anticipating the birth of her first born Brigitte. Her happiness and love for her family continued to grow when Margaritte arrived and with Anthony her family was complete and her heart was full. So many beautiful memories!
"Arm" you were always a true friend, an although years passed and we were not always in touch, when I last saw you it was as if no time had passed at all... there you were "Hi Rock" you said with a big hug, the same warm and welcoming friend with that beautiful smile and sparkle in your eyes that I met so long ago - I love you and will miss you my dear friend but I will never forget you!
Armida, everyone know your greatest joy in life is your family and they are the beautiful legacy you leave behind!
Rest in Peace my friend!

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting LeaAnn Terrace, you were treated to a table filled with food, love and lots of laughter . I had the pleasure of knowing Armida since 1995 and in that time, she always remained the same. A beautiful woman who enjoyed the simple things in life... a pair of sweats, a smoke in the kitchen, a pair of earrings, lipstick, a hot pastrami sandwich. But most of all, she loved her family. I will never forget all of the memories that were made just sitting in her kitchen, eating her food , telling old stories and laughing til we cried . She was wise beyond her years and I am grateful to have had her wisdom bestowed upon me growing up and all the years since. I love you Armida . I promise to always keep mayo away from my children, to be careful driving and to always be a lady.
