SPANO – Cleona Delia of Dix Hills, NY and formerly of Wantagh, NY passed away peacefully on May 15, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Spano, Esq. Loving mother of Cathie Spano Miller, Paul (Dawn), Sal (Lori), and the late Cindie Spano Morello (Steve). Proud grandmother of Willie, Danielle, Christina, Richie, Paul, Julianne, James, Marissa, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Sophia. Adored sister of Cecilia Coyle and Arnold Florio, and predeceased by Vinny Florio and Clara Diodato. Cherished by many nieces and nephews. Dedicated her life to many civic organizations and community service including the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County and Nassau County Republican Club. Family will receive friends Friday May 18th, 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY.
